"Meet You Again" is a song by American country music artist Carrie Underwood. Information technology was written by Underwood, Hillary Lindsey, and David Hodges. The song has received positive reviews from music critics. Billboard.com described the vocal to be "truly a taste of sky."[2] Kevin John Coyne of Country Universe included the song in his personal favorite tracks from the Diddled Abroad studio anthology in the website's 2012 year-end inaugural of editors' favorite Land albums of the year,[6] as did Matt Bjorke of Roughstock for their album countdown.[seven] Liv Carter of Urban Country News gave the song a "thumbs upwardly", adding "what pulls it over the line even so, and presumably why it has become a fan-favorite, is its sincerity in wishing to bring comfort and Underwood's confident performance."[viii] Jonathan Keefe of Camber Magazine was less favorable, proverb that "the chorus of power ballad "See You Again" is marred by dated, campy arena-stone clichés."[9]

Commercial performance [edit]

The song debuted at No. threescore on the US Country Airplay chart for the week of Apr xiii, 2013,[10] and peaked at No. two for the nautical chart dated September vii, 2013.[xi] Information technology entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 90 for the chart dated May eighteen, 2013,[12] and peaked at No. 34 for the nautical chart of August 31, 2013.[13] It also peaked at No.seven on the Hot Country Songs chart on August 24, 2013. As of December 2013, the single has sold 740,000 copies in the The states.[3]

On Baronial 10, 2015 "Run across Yous Again" was officially certified equally Platinum.[4]

Alive Performances [edit]

Underwood performed the song in May 2018 during an episode of American Idol in which she mentored the superlative v contestants.[fourteen] The song was included in the setlist for the Cry Pretty Tour.[15]

On June 7, 2013, Good Morning America gave a get-go look for the music video for "See You Again". The full video premiered soon after on ABCNews.com.[17] The music video was directed by Eric Welch.[18] Information technology showed the aftermaths of the Sandy Hook Simple School shooting, the September 11 attacks and the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado, along with various reunions.
